Amber Mariano Files Her First Bills

21 year old State Rep. and UCF student Amber Mariano has filed her first bills in the state house.

Were they bills about the $45 million that she promised to bring back to address flooding issues?  NO!  Were they bills to relieve the blight on US 19?  NO!  Were they bills to help the people of Gulf Harbors get out from under their incredible water bills?  NO!

HB 153 will eliminate surcharges if you take too many credits in a semester and HB 155 allows Bright Scholarship Program students to take summer courses.  Both are noteworthy and well intended bills.  But, do they address the needs of her constituents or the needs of her sorority sisters? (One of whom is working for her as a Legislative Aide)

Amber is showing us her priorities.  Is this what West Pasco really needs?

Perhaps we should send her a note that we appreciate her well-intentioned bills and look forward to seeing her introduce bills which address the more pressing needs of a majority of Pasco residents. I’ll look up her contact info and send a little note myself!

Amber could never do the great job the ADuLT she outrageously replaced–a VP at Raymond James Financial, Amanda Murphy!! It’s about to be the rainy/hurricane season soon, where’s the promised funds to resolve West Pasco’s pressing flooding problems? Get on task, Amber! Your constituents are waiting!
