Pasco Democrats Support “Honor Flight at Home”

The Pasco Democratic Party is honored to assist the Community Service Council of West Pasco, Inc. at their upcoming “HONOR FLIGHT AT HOME” event on Saturday, January 12. In partnership with Honor Flight of West Central Florida, they are asking for community-wide support to recognize veterans unable to travel on an “HONOR FLIGHT TO WASHINGTON, DC” trip by giving them a “Public Welcome Home” right here in our community.

The veterans will be attending a special program at Spartan Manor from 9:30am to 11:30am. As they depart the event, the goal is to have hundreds of people cheering them on, lining the streets, waving flags and signs, expressing a public display of gratitude in a coordinated and massive simulation of the Honor Flight to Washington.

WHAT: “Honor Flight at Home”
WHEN: Saturday, January 12 // Arrive at 11am
WHERE: Spartan Manor (6121 Massachusetts Ave. / New Port Richey)
WHY: To recognize veterans unable to travel to Washington, DC on a regular HONOR FLIGHT

This is an incredible opportunity to not only support the work being done by fellow volunteers here in Pasco, but it is also a powerful way to give back and thank those who have selflessly served this nation.

1. We ask that you bring something patriotic to wave (a flag, a homemade sign, etc.),
2. Wear your “Red, White & Blue”
3. Come with enthusiasm for this family/kid friendly event
4. Consider carpooling for easier parking
